Bachata

What is Bachata?

Bachata is a lively, partner-based dance that originated in the Dominican Republic, now enjoyed worldwide. It's characterized by a three-step movement with a hip motion, followed by a tap, all within an 8-beat structure. While often considered easier to learn than salsa due to its slower pace, mastering bachata requires dedication to develop intricate body movement, connection, and a deep understanding of the music.
